Much of the effort that fuels the need for DNA tests comes from our main nonprofit effort to help individuals on their journey to find the truth revealed through autosomal DNA testing. Once those results come in, it takes individuals familiar with genetic genealogy to help narrow down the results and interpret the best path forward in identifying a client’s most likely birth parents.

Not every story ends in rainbows and unicorns. However, the truth that is uncovered and the significance it has on the individual client can be enormous and constructive. When someone understands the nature and nurture that helped strongly influence the kind of person they have become as an adult it can be an awe-inspiring piece of knowledge that can change people’s understanding of their identity and where they stand in the grand scheme of things, which may have been absent or unknown to them all their lives.
